You can use any 1" bar on the savage....keep in mind if you install ape hangers or something big and radical you may need to swap cables, hoses, rewire etc. but for the most part any 1" bar will do. Any Risers will do as well...keep in mind that most risers uses a larger diameter bolt than stock so modifying the stock bushings would be nacessary. Metric or SAE can be used but you will of course have to by the bolts to match. I just installed a set of Ness V-Drag bars on my project....these have built in one risers which was a problem because the stock triple tree has risers spaced at 4" instead of the standard 3 1/2" center to center bolts. I had to fabricate brackets to accomidate the new bar.
